Designing a new identity and site for the app to shop, plan & cook dinner
Meal Hero is an app that makes it easier to shop, plan & cook for yourself and your family. You can seamlessly choose recipes, set your schedule, and order groceries, all at once. At SevenDesign, we collaborated with the Meal Hero team to create a fresh look & feel that broke away from "recipe app" norms and built a website to promote the app. The app UI was updated to follow the new brand guidelines with a new typeface, color palette, and illustrations.
Among my responsibilities on this project I led the branding initiative with two supporting designers and provided art direction for illustrations/icons, coordinating with several illustrators. I supported as a designer on the website and provided development support, built on Webflow. I ensured accessibility was prioritized maintained throughout the process from branding, to website, to app interface implementation.
